The path winds, its journey
falling into darkness
where lost dreams hide,
shoved into the long forgotten caverns
of newly mature and barren minds.
A young boy walks cautiously
along under the shadows of
these long lost hopes.
Time after time, the
darkness prevails, and like
all others faced with choices
in the cool loneliness of
the caverns,
the boy continues on,
leaving a trail of dreams
in his wake.
